2025年10月11日，据朝中社报道，朝鲜武装力量各军种和兵种组成的徒步方队及尖端装备方队陆续受阅。新型“火星炮－20”型洲际弹道导弹现身阅兵式。

报道说，阅兵式现场升国旗、奏国歌，鸣礼炮二十一响。金正恩在讲话中说，捍卫国家主权、维护人民安全与利益，是朝鲜军队肩负的至高无上的任务和绝对使命。朝鲜军队必须继续发展成为所向无敌的实体，消除一切逼近防卫圈的威胁。

讲话结束后，朝鲜武装力量阅兵方队在国防相努光铁带领下正式开始受阅行进。

报道说，各历史时期的象征方队、名誉骑兵方队等亲卫部队方队首先通过金日成广场；南部边境前线军团方队、一线野战武力阅兵方队、海军方队和空军方队紧随其后；战略军方队、特种作战军方队和海外作战部队方队等众多方队接受检阅。

徒步方队过后，现代式主力坦克“天马－20”型方队、600毫米火箭炮方队、远程战略巡航导弹方队、无人机发射架车方队、地对空和地对地导弹方队等众多装备方队陆续入场。随后，高超音速滑翔导弹方队、高超音速中远程战略导弹方队穿过广场。
